Goodbye Rat-Hole Job

To make a long story short, I quit my job. I hated working there and I'm glad I got out. It was beautiful. I had a two-week notice all typed out and as the guy was chewing me out for being unreliable (it's very hard for me to BE reliable when I despise the place so much; at my previous job I went to the office even when I was sick cause I loved it :p), he goes, "So you have two choices, you can ship up or there's the door." And I handed him the two-week notice and said "Ok then!" XD I'm FREEEEEEE. No more picking up old, crusty pepperoni off the floor! We've been house and cat sitting lately, hence my absence. This week we've been over at my sister's. Over the course of our stay, Melanie continued to show her gender preferences. That is, she seemed to only come out when it was just me. Not five minutes ago, she was sitting in my lap, which is a first for this trip, but it always took her a little while to warm back up to me. She's very skittish. Mouse, on the other hand, doesn't too much care about who you are as long as when he flops his massive girth over, he gets a belly rub. They're cute kitties. <3This next week we'll be over at the in-laws. I don't really want to be mean about it, but this house is very dusty, and our sinuses have been killing us over it. Not to mention the 'fridge and pantry were mostly bare. When we change houses, I've been assured that not only was the 'fridge totally restocked, but apparently there's some suprises waiting. :D Plus the house has always been very clean whenever I go so that's a bonus just in sleep-ease. Expect to see me around more often now that I'm between jobs. ;p

I would have laughed in his face and told him that he could take the $6.50/hour and stick it up his @$$! So are you done or you still have two weeks?

Found this while I was browsing for a job. Thought you might be interested. It's similar to the job Mike has now. You plan your own day AND you get to work with video games. :D Go here.

Nah, he said "Bye" and I walked out the door. :D

Looks like they require previous retail and merchandising experience. :/

I'll apply anyway later though. It's being fussy about IE and I don't know why.

Crap. I didn't bother to read the requirements. I got excited when I read "Microsoft" and "XBOX" cuz it made me think of you and sounded like something you might enjoy. Send a resume anyways... You never know

We're already over here and there is so much more food than what we are used to that we almost ate ourselves sick yesterday and this morning I had no idea what to eat because there was too much to choose from. How sad.

That's awesome. =P Like having Christmas everyday in the kitchen. Just don't eat too much. (I might have to come over and help out with the munchies.) Where did they go on their trip? Oh, and what was the surprise? =)

Heh, sounds like my second job. Well, minus the whole picking up old crusty pepperoni part.Great to hear you got out, being at a job you hate just isn't worth it. Go For EB games again. XD Or if you try to go for a GameCrazy I can send a letter of recommendation... if that helps any. XD

I don't think there are any GameCrazy's around here. EB and GameStop are the only real contenders in this town. :I
